Stuffed Manicotti With Cottage Cheese
2 mix spinach cottage cheese parmesan cheese oregano and pepper.
Stuffed manicotti with cottage cheese. Directions heat oven to 350 f bring 5 quarts of water to a rapid boil. Return to rapid boil. Fill each manicotti shell with ricotta cheese mixture and line up on top of the marinara sauce in the baking dish dividing the ricotta evenly between the 12 manicotti.
Ingredients 1 lb ground beef cooked 1 jar 24 oz spaghetti sauce 1 1 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided 1 cup cottage cheese 1 3 cup parmesan cheese 1 4 cup chopped parsley 2 eggs beaten 2 tbsp finely diced onion 7 manicotti shells cooked al dente. Baking dish coated with cooking spay. Directions in a large bowl combine sausage and cottage cheese.
Add pasta and stir. Add onion mixture and stir together until combined. Cook uncovered stirring occasionally for 4 to 6 minutes.
For best results add 1 tablespoons of salt. Fill uncooked manicotti shells with spinach mixture. Spoon a generous amount of the cheese mixture into each manicotti shell.
Spread 1 cup sauce into a 13x9 in. Top the filled manicotti with the remaining 1 1 2 cups sauce 1 cup mozzarella cheese and 1 4 cup parmesan. 3 in medium bowl mix remaining pasta sauce and water.
Cover with remaining sauce and cover with foil. Spread some sauce on the bottom of a 13x 9 pan. Steps 1 heat oven to 350 f.
